 Rick P. lives on a big farm that he loves to tend to. He also loves to run whenever he can. Even for being a little older, he is very active. His cutie mark is a cowboy hat and a lasso because he is a natural on the farm and loves ranching. He is a true western pony. He loves hanging around young mares when he’s not busy running or tending to his farm. Sometimes Mitt likes to bug him when he’s trying to impress the ladies. As far as politics and beliefs go, Rick P. can be a bit impulsive and change over time, but his goofy and friendly personality stays the same through it all.

Newt Newt is one of the easiest ponies to recognize, mainly for his size. Even as a colt, he was rather chunky. Exercise has never been a big hobby of his. He prefers to read, write, and learn. He loves reading any book he can get his hooves on and even writes his own when he gets big ideas. He also loves to learn about animals, especially dinosaurs. Because of all this, his cutie mark is an open book. He sometimes gets so into his hobbies and work that his personal life suffers. He’s not proud of it and always tries to put it behind him, but people often bring it up anyways. Whereas ponies like Rick P. like to go out and live it up, Newt is content staying at home curled up with a good book.

Jon loves adventure, action, and speed. When he’s not flying at top speeds around the sky, he’s on his motorcycle, tearing about the land. Because of his love and need for speed, his cutie mark is a flaming tire. He tends to be very open minded and ready for new experiences. He loves heavy metal and rock music and even owns his own electric guitar he sometimes jams out on. He has traveled to many different places and is open to many other cultures, despite how different they are from his homeland.

Rick S. is the more religious pony of the group. His cutie mark is a Catholic cross. There doesn’t seem to be many big religions in Equestria, so Rick S.’s family was a bit odd. Despite this, he has stayed dedicated to the values he was raised on and holds dearly. There are times when his beliefs have put him at odds with his friends, but he ends up apologizing when things get too overboard. He doesn’t compromise his own feelings, but he knows in the long run that alienating his buddies is very unwise. Sometimes, like anypony, he slips up and his friends are right there to point it out, but isn’t that what friends are for? LOL! He’s actually a little older than Jon, but Jon spends much more time traveling and is outside more, so Rick S. ends up looking like the youngest of the group.
